1. Acceptance of Terms

Enrollment in the Jennings Oneil Career Academy (“JOCA”) Complete-to-Earn-Certificate Program (“the Program”) constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By enrolling, you agree to abide by all policies, procedures, and expectations outlined herein, as well as any subsequent updates provided by JOCA.

2. Program Overview

The Program provides structured, hands-on training and instruction leading to an official Certificate of Completion upon successful fulfillment of all academic, attendance, and conduct requirements.

JOCA reserves the right to revise course content, scheduling, or certification criteria to uphold educational standards.

3. Eligibility and Enrollment

• Participants must complete an enrollment form and submit all required documents before the class start date.
• JOCA may deny or revoke enrollment for failure to meet prerequisites, non-payment, or falsified information.
• Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s written consent.

4. Program Fees and Payments

• Tuition or fees are due by the published deadline unless financial aid or sponsorship is confirmed.
• Refunds follow the JOCA Refund Policy.
• JOCA may suspend access or services for non-payment.

5. Attendance and Completion Requirements

To qualify for certification:

• Participants must maintain required attendance levels.
• All assignments, labs, and assessments must be completed satisfactorily.
• Excessive absences or incomplete work may delay or forfeit certification.

6. Code of Conduct

Professional behavior is mandatory. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:

• Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or bullying.
• Substance abuse, threats, or unlawful acts.
• Academic dishonesty or plagiarism.
  Violations may result in suspension or dismissal without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, including digital and print content, are the property of JOCA and its instructors.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited without written consent.

8. Technology and Online Use

Participants accessing JOCA’s digital systems agree to use them responsibly.

Any attempt to hack, spam, or misuse systems is grounds for removal. JOCA is not liable for technical issues, downtime, or data loss.

9. Liability and Disclaimer

While JOCA strives for instructional excellence, it makes no guarantee of job placement or employment outcomes. Participants assume all risk associated with participation and agree to hold JOCA harmless from any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination of Participation

JOCA reserves the right to suspend or terminate a participant’s enrollment for:

• Breach of these Terms and Conditions.
• Failure to maintain satisfactory academic or attendance performance.
• Conduct detrimental to others or the reputation of JOCA.

11. Privacy and Data Use

All personal data collected is used solely for enrollment, instruction, and administrative purposes.

JOCA will not sell or share personal information without consent, except as required by law.

12. Certification Issuance

Certificates are granted only after all program requirements and financial obligations are met.

Certificates remain the property of JOCA until all obligations are satisfied.

13. Amendments

JOCA may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation or enrollment after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

14. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Acknowledgment

Enrollment in this Program signifies that the participant has read, understood, and agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full. No additional signature is required to indicate acceptance.
