Bootcamp Includes Three Certifications

Students complete a customized combination of three FOA certification programs based on current industry demand.

Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT)

The foundation certification introducing students to fiber optic networking, installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting while preparing them for the nationally recognized FOA certification exam.

Certified Fiber Optics Specialist – Testing & Maintenance (CFOS/T)

Learn industry testing standards, OTDR operation, insertion loss testing, return loss testing, and maintenance procedures through extensive hands-on laboratory exercises.

Certified Fiber Optics Splicing Specialist (CFOS/S)

Master both fusion and mechanical splicing techniques while learning to produce industry-standard splice losses and properly install splice trays and closures.

Additional Advanced Certifications Available

• Certified Fiber to the Home (CFTH)
